Notes for the optimal use of our Website

Development

This Website was developed by means of GoLive 5,0 by Adobe on a Macintosh of Apple computer.

Screen size should be at least 15 ". Resolution should be 1024*768.

For the optimal representation of a character size on the Windowscomputer the size "small" is recommended (to achieve over text zoom).

Test

In addition to an Apple Macintosh, OS 9.2, a Pentium 3 computer with the operating system Windows ME from Microsoft was tested.

On the Windowscomputer by means of Microsoft Internet Explorer 6,0 , on the Macintosh by means of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5,0, was tested as well as Netscape 6,1.

Recommendations

Movies and Midi sounds, which are merged at present in the internal area of this website, were merged by means of Quicktime. For these objects a Quicktime Player is needed. You download it free from Apple computer. Quicktime is also available as ActiveX control. It is this form which is necessary if Internet Explorer is to be used from version 5.5 and service pack 2 and 6 Quicktime animations ( Apple support note ).

The Flash animations require a Flash Player of Macromedia. You can download a free Flash Player here. If you already haveQuicktime 5.x at your disposal, Flash 4 animations are playable.

Javascripts are often used. They must be supported by your Browser, in order to obtain optimal results.

The animated pictures and animated GIF images (flag symbols, buttons, lines) are displayed by your Browser.

Safety restrictions

The used Javascripts can be processsed however only if the JavaScripts are certified in the respective Browser. With deactivation of the Javascript the following restrictions occur

* Mr. CHECK is missing,

* the special SCROLL functions are not available any longer,

* calculator and euro converter are missing and

* no detailed weather information.
